CORINNE.

It started almost one year ago. I had the honor to visit Kyle and Diana's home to capture and freeze in time a moment of their first pregnancy. A short 4 months later I returned to meet this little butterfly. She was perfect. She lay quiet and wide-eyed as Diana brought her wedding dress she intended to wrap Corinne tightly in for a sentimental memory while Kyle stood by armed with his choice props: his scottish family tartan and a soccer ball! That day, Corinne was the most pleasant and passive child who ever lived. Now, at 5 months old dolled up in her baptismal gown, Corinne somehow is more adorable and sweet. I mean it. We propped her up, laid her down, rolled her over, held her, snuggled, kissed, and baby talked her ear off for an hour. She just sat there, you know... being perfect... no big deal.

I look forward to every time I can be around Kyle and Diana. They have this energy about them I cant help but be drawn to. They are so humble and honest, and when I least expect it, sarcastic (my favorite). Its like if a disney character and a stand up comedian had offspring, you'd get Kyle and Diana. Only, imagine they are not brother and sister. Weird. ahhg, never mind. This all made sense in my head I swear.

May I present to you, internet, (drumroll) baby Corinne.

This next little photo deliciousness makes me smile. I wish I had a photo like this of my mom holding my baby hands. Oh and how 'bout that dreamy lens flare... loooooove it! Taste the rainbow ladies and gentlemen, taste the rainbow. (I've been craving skittles for a week straight, I cant help myself).

When my on-purpose-out-of-focus shots work, they go a lil somthin' like this. I love the emotion and somehow the lack of focal clarity adds to the overall feel.

  1. Amanda these photos and your comments should have come with a warning about having the kleenex close! We absolutely love them and cannot thank you enough for what you were able to capture.

    Love,

    Diana, Kyle & Corinne
