MOOOVIN' ALONG.

That’s just the way life goes = driving two and a half hours in traffic, reaching a beautiful farm and 15 beautiful family members, shooting for 10 hot and muggy minutes before Sean gets stung by a wasp and the thundering sky opens up to do the sideways rain thing.

After waiting out the hour of rain, a conclusion was made to hurry the session along in order to accommodate increasingly bored small children. We decided sacrificing the creativity to give way to a sheltered porch setting with kids that would still co-operate with us, was our best bet.

Of course, the moment we realized everyone had had enough and we packed it in, the sun came beaming through stormy clouds and the rest of the day was dry and beautiful. Obviously.

The family happens to be my Aunt Jeannie and Uncle Karl along with their children, spouses, and babies. Those brave souls collectively: climbed hay stacks, rode tractors, swatted furious swarms of mosquitoes, avoided dog/cow poop, out ran and eventually succumbed to the downpour, dancing and laughing in the rain. It was a good day.

Here are a few snapshots into session…

Grandma and Grandpa with all the grand-kiddies.

To end our session the whole family stood hand in hand under a pouring sky. I love it.
