Katie had warned me that her 9 year old daughter, Mae, was sometimes slow at warming up to new faces. Well Sean and I must have a familiar feel as Mae wasted no time dancing and gettin' jiggy all over town. A cannonball of childhood energy, my shutter couldn't click fast enough to capture her every move.
Beautiful Katie and her spitting image "Mini-Mae" have such a sweet bond that radiates honesty. It is so evident they have a ball together, exploring, laughing and loving.
It was absolutely our privilege to have met and shared an afternoon dancin' in the streets with these two fabulous ladies and we can't wait to do it again.

I have been good friends with both Katie and Mae for quite a few years now, and have to say that your photos captured their personalities perfectly. Pretty amazing work! Oh, and for the record, Mae has always had that childhood energy - it is one of her most endearing qualities. :)
