So... WOW. I like to think as a born and raised country canadian girl, I can withstand a little cold and snow. THIS WAS THE COLDEST DAY EVERRRRRRR!
The wildly talented and down right hilarious Derek Giberson envisioned his artistic photo shoot to take place in the middle of the snowy woods. Sounds great on paper or in our case via email/text. However, after a warm and mild autumn, the first week of December welcomed a more realistic winter. This day in particular was -20ยบ (MINUS TWENTY) with slight hurricane speed winds. I had on two coats and a down filled vest, mittens and the biggest baddest winter boots around. Literally after 30 minutes of shooting, I had to run back to the car and try to revive my poor little fingers from their near icy fatality. Sean was my hero and took the last few shots while he and Derek were still able to move.
All that drama later... and we get these pretty shots to forever remember why the three of us put ourselves through that! ha.
I cant wait for Derek to put these promo shots to good use and start revealing his solo project to the world. We love you friend.
