28 TODAY.

Although I've only known him for 4 of his 28 years, I'm pretty sure these 4 have been the best ones. Today is his birthday and while he grumbles and growls at getting ever closer to exiting his twenties, Im taking the day to reflect on all that he means to me.

So, Im a list girl. Seriously. Im sure it drives those who know me nuts, but I have to visualize the list-able items swirling around my brain. Instead of a paragraph celebrating Sean, I'm going to construct an easy to follow list so no point is overlooked.

Sean, today I celebrate you...

- For the way you laugh. Your laugh wouldn't be the same without the shoulder wiggles and the loud clap.

- For always letting me warm my cold toes on your warm legs. Most times sans struggle.

- For jumping into my spontaneous songs about everything with out missing a beat. And never questioning how random my mind can be.

- For taking my place editing photos when I can no longer stare at a computer screen. Even if its 3am.

- For leaving a cup of coffee and a love note in my car when I have to be on the road early.

- For how you hug me and run your fingers through my hair when I'm upset.

- For the way you contribute to my nephew's imagination. He loves you.

- For how you use shaving cream as your beard wash because I once said it was the best I had ever smelled.

- For being able to finish my sentences and share the "same brain".

- For L.G.

Thanks for always being my best friend, no matter what. I love you to the edges of the earth and beyond. Happy Birthday baby. xo
