ALYCIA + JORDAN = JAYDEN.

I think it's unfair when your best friends up and leave you to live their lives on the opposite side of the country. You miss out on precious moments and events in each other's days that you had always imagined you'd be there for. Now, Im all in favour of spontaneous travel, exploration of one's self and wild adventures that lead you to corners of the globe you were unaware existed... but there has to come a time when you snuggle back into a comfy routine of seeing one another regularly. Sigh.

Back in December, my girl Alycia was home for a brief holiday visit with her family and I was lucky enough to sneak in a mini photo session of her beautiful little baby belly. On April 17, 2010 Jayden Cole finally appeared, and opened his brand new eyes toward the big bright world around him. I only wish it could have been possible for me to have been there and watch it all unfold.

Back in Ontario again, Alycia and Jordan have brought their adorable little peanut for a family visit. Of course I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take their first photos as a budding family.
