Ahhhhhhhhh. That sigh was for the month gone by. High's and lo's, surprises and celebrations, firsts and lasts. Goodbye May my darling - hello June! Sean and I have been in the new house for almost one month and it's finally starting to feel like home. Our routines have settled and I can't help but... stop... to take a mental photograph and freeze this moment in our lives. We're very blessed to have all that we do, including amazing family and friends.
Speaking of amazing friends, this past weekend we kicked off our 2010 wedding season up north in the Muskoka's with two dear friends turned clients. I and this spicy little sunburn of mine had THE. MOST. WONDERFUL. WEEKEND. EVER. If you have ever owned a family cottage on a pretty lake where you spent the summers of your childhood boating, swimming, sunning and ruling at board games of all varieties... you know what I'm talking about.
After the fabulous wedding on Saturday, Sean and I spent our Sunday on the dock of our resort and getting matching sunburns aboard a 2 hour boat cruise. I couldn't have been happier anywhere else on the planet. One day I will own a family cottage just like the one from my youth.
June is sizing up to be a very busy and prosperous month both in our personal lives and professional. There is so much on the way and I can't wait to share it with all of you!
To tantalize taste buds I thought I would post a snippet of what's to come from Jenn and Brian's day.
Happy June 1st and bon appetite ...
Yay!! So glad you had an amazing weekend, we love you guys! J & B
