SURPRISE ATTACK.

My favourite 3 year old critter showed up on my door step this afternoon and completely brightened my Thursday!

My nephew Noah and I have a very close bond. I was living with my older sister Christy and her husband Paul when they were expecting him, I was taking photos during his delivery, and I lived with him every moment of his little life up until this past May when Sean and I moved into our first home together.

I find it impossible to be upset or in a bad mood when he's around- he's got me wrapped around his sticky little finger and he knows it. Lord help me, Noah is my weakness. (and Kawartha Dairy Mint Chip ice cream)

Clever as he is, he no longer makes it easy for me to take photos of him. He's constantly on the go and slows down only for a slurp from his juice box. Since I no longer have the luxury of seeing him morning noon and night, I fear I'm missing too much. I grabbed my camera while we played today and attempted to capture some of him- right at this moment- in his growing years. He will never be this age again, and I appreciate every second of it.

For the past few months Noah has been trying his hardest at this whole potty training thing. When his 3rd birthday approached in April, we were all worried he would never get the hang of not wearing a diaper and he would be the only tyke on the soccer field in July with padded shorts. But something clicked and now he is a toilet trained master just in time for the kickoff!
My mom has photos of all of us kids working the toilet training magic, so I couldn't resist giving Noah some images to look back on in utter embarrassment one day down the road when his mom pulls out the photo albums in front of his first girlfriend.
