BRIAN AND JENN.

On the edge of evening between storms, the three of us ventured out to capture some playful engagement shots.

I arrived as the rain stopped and entered the front door Brian held open for me. My first time meeting him. He was even more welcoming then I had anticipated almost as if he were a professional greeter. ha. Jenn hurried around the bedroom tossing dresses and denim as she decided against them. "These shoes are typical me, so I'll just plan the rest of my ensemble around them." Jenn insisted. I laughed. I've known Jenn for what seems like a lifetime and I still can't get over the small similarities between her and my best friend, who happens to be her younger sister. A final touch here and there and with a spare dress in tow we all headed toward the setting sun.

I couldn't be happier. I was in a fresh location to shoot, lighting was ideal and inspiration was endless around me. With only moments into the session I began to notice just how beautiful my subjects really were. When I would ask them to turn towards each other, laugh, or gaze lovingly into the eyes of their one and only – they would take it one step further. I mean, I'd have to actually cut them off to keep on schedule with a fading sun. It's completely evident how in love they are and the way they give of themselves is virtuous.

Brian, thank you. Thank you for being a man who holds doors, holds hands and looks at his lady with sincere devotion.

After hearing the brilliant plans in motion for the wedding next year, Sean and I along with our Canon homeboys, absolutely cant wait to be in attendance.

Here are a few of Brian and Jenn's images.
